Bergen Carbon Solutions was pleased to take part in CCUS 2026 – From Ambition to Delivery in London last week, bringing our perspective on carbon capture and utilisation to an international audience.

Our CEO, Odd Strømsnes, joined the speaker line-up, where he presented Bergen Carbon Solutions’ approach to carbon utilisation and the opportunity to use captured CO₂ as a raw material for valuable carbon products.

For Bergen Carbon Solutions, carbon utilisation is about more than reducing emissions. It is also about developing a critical raw material for batteries as part of a European battery value chain. Our sustainable technology converts CO₂ into solid carbon materials, with a particular focus on advanced materials for battery applications.

With more than 600 participants over two days, CCUS 2026 demonstrated the strong and growing international interest in carbon capture, utilisation and storage.

The conference gave us a valuable opportunity to share our perspective, connect with the international CCUS community and highlight the potential of turning captured CO₂ into a valuable industrial resource.
