Qualifications and personal requirements
- BSc or MSc student in relevant field (Chemistry or other relevant fields)
- Experience with lab work and independent problem solving
- Experience with DoE, execution and analysis
- Curious and precise
- Sound understanding of HSE in lab work
- Fluent Norwegian and/or English
Tasks
- Execution of molten salt electrolysis (750 deg C) and post-treatment
- Sample preparation (crushing, sieving, packaging)
- Operate pressurized process equipment
- Lab work, mainly with acid treatment of carbon powders and preparation of slurries for battery lab
- Handling powder and making slurry with characterisation
- Design of experiments and execution to overcome practical challenges
- Participation in cross-disciplinary teams with engineers and operators within electrolysis, characterization and battery application
