Technology Development Agreement with Broadbit Batteries

We are pleased to announce that we have entered into a technology development agreement with BroadBit Batteries Oy. This marks a strategic collaboration between our organizations aimed at advancing the next-generation nano-carbon additive for LFP battery chemistries.

This strategic partnership follows promising initial results with BCS material in BroadBit LFP-batteries, paving the way for further advancements. Our joint objective is to showcase the beneficial effects of incorporating BCS Green Carbon Nanotubes as a conductive additive in Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries (LFP).

As part of the agreement, we will conduct rigorous battery coin cell testing at the BroadBit Batteries lab in Finland. Upon successful completion of this testing phase, Bergen Carbon Solutions and BroadBit Batteries Oy will work together to refine and optimize CNT formulations tailored for LFP batteries.

“This partnership signifies a significant step forward in advancing battery technology, and we are excited to embark on this journey with BroadBit Batteries” says Hammad Majeed CIRO at BCS.

Stay tuned for more updates on our progress!
