Bergen Carbon Solutions AS announces that it has received a notification of
intention to grant from the Norwegian Industrial Property Office (NIPO) for a
patent application related to its CO2 separation technology.
The patent application (PCT/NO2025/050020), titled "Method and Apparatus for
Purification and Separation of Solid-State Carbon-Containing Material", covers
key aspects of the Company's proprietary process for purification and handling
of carbon-containing materials derived from CO2.
The notification of intention to grant reflects that the application has
fulfilled the substantive patentability requirements, including novelty and
inventive step, subject to final formalities.

strength of our underlying technology platform. Securing patent protection is a
key priority for the Company as we continue to develop and commercialize
